Great graphics but very limited topics.
The Blausen Eye Atlas for iPhone (ver 2.11) is a very nice attempt to bring a limited amount of ocular conditions into an easy to follow animation for bedside use to educate patients and family. It includes a glossary section with nice images, but these are rather small and cannot be enlarged big enough to be comfortable for a viewer (perhaps in a future version it will be possible to zoom and pan these images). The video section is very limited and should include topics such as retinal detachments, surgical techniques for their repair (buckling, vitrectomy, pneumatic retinopexy, etc). The section of "Macular Degeneration" is outdated and fails to include AREDS results and intravitreal injections. There is also nothing available on the use of thermal lasers in the management of retinal diseases and glaucoma. The graphics are great, the narrator is nice, but the contents is so simplified that sometimes is inaccurate or outdated. Would certainly like to see more from this developers, their idea is good but needs some "polishing".
